Once in Rome, there are numerous ways to explore the city.

Metro

The Rome Metro, while not as extensive as those in other major cities, is a convenient way to get around. It has three lines: A (orange), B (blue), and C (green). The Metro operates from 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM on weekdays, and until 1:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Buses

Rome’s bus network is extensive, covering areas not served by the Metro. The ATAC buses operate throughout the city, with many lines running until midnight. Night buses (N lines) are available for late-night travel.
